CPA Event at COP30

In the spirit of the COP Presidency’s call for a “Mutirão” the Carbon Pricing in the Americas (CPA), in collaboration with the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), is organizing a session to highlight regional initiatives that strengthen coordination on carbon markets and carbon pricing.

The event will take place on 15 November from 13:15 to 14:00 at the Canada Pavilion (blue zone).

This event will showcase collaborative approaches that build trust, align rules, and facilitate cooperative implementation, all while respecting national contexts and priorities.

Together, we aim to put forward how regional cooperation can accelerate climate action and unlock new opportunities for sustainable development.
