He is currently Undersecretary of the Environment at the Secretariat of Sustainable Development of the State of Quer\u00e9taro, where his participation has been key in the formulation of public policies focused on climate change, low-emission transportation, biodiversity conservation, and integrated waste management. He also served for 10 years as a professor at the Autonomous University of Quer\u00e9taro.
